Technical Program Manager, Home, Health, Devices and Services

  • 2 years of experience in program management.
  • Experience in testing.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 4 years of experience in program management and software/hardware testing.
  • Experience in Program Management, Test Planning, Test Automation, Test Automation Framework, Stakeholder Management, Risk Management, Vendor Management and App Testing.
  • Experience driving test engineering requirements and converting them into test timelines.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

The Health Platforms and Devices team builds innovative products and services that help our users live longer, healthier lives. We bring together the best of Google technologies and AI, health behavior science, and user-centered design to help users organize the health and wellness data, get insight from it, and take action toward their health goals. We do this with a suite of apps, services, and health wearables. We aim to make consumer health more personal, proactive, and actionable.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a channel between the Test Engineering teams, product managers, UX, Support.
  • Provide test program management during analysis, design, development, implementation, and post implementation launch phases.
  • Lead and drive cross-functional, cross-vertical test process to enable standardization, optimization, or transformation.
  • Engage with the engineering leaders, product managers, UX, and other TPMs, to streamline processes, simplify test execution, and bring tooling efficiencies.
  • Automate test status reporting with clear test signals and create and maintain automated dashboards.
