Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of technology related sales, business development, channel sales, or partner management experience.
  • Experience working with public cloud technologies.
  • Experience working with solutions providers, system integrators, independent software vendors, or technology services companies.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience forecasting, exceeding quotas, and driving rhythm of business with partners.
  • Experience presenting to senior-level audiences and presenting at customer, partner, or industry events.
  • Experience building business partnerships with solutions providers, system integrators, or technology service providers and demonstrated knowledge of cloud partner ecosystems.
  • Expertise with consumption business models, cloud economics, and partner deal constructs.

As the Regional Partner Development Manager (PDM), Global System Integrators you will own the engagement with the GSI partner in the region. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with C-level partner executives and relevant stakeholders to drive and scale joint business, focus on joint sales execution and delivery quality aligned with the global partner plan and priorities. You'll be responsible for establishing the foundations of the partnership by developing a joint business plan, driving practice development, ensuring technical depth, and co-promoting partner capabilities to drive delivery quality, the expansion of the partners solution and product portfolio, and business growth. You will develop close relationships with our sales and solutions teams, creating go-to-market strategies specific to your partners’ capabilities, and work with the executives to drive their joint success leveraging Google Cloud’s solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a go-to-market strategy and joint business plan with a select group of named partners.
  • Implement a sales and technical development strategy, increasing partners’ technical depth, readiness, and capabilities to ensure delivery quality and drive consumption.
  • Help your partners grow their Google practice and product portfolio through joint development of solutions and services. Identify opportunities for the partner to scale our joint business leveraging Google’s services and solutions.
  • Manage your partners' business performance, understanding key partner deals and deployment projects via regular reviews across pipeline, business and identification of cross and upsell potential. 
  • Ensure priority partners are introduced to Google originated opportunities early, specifically for CGE-led prospecting campaigns and Cloud AI.
