About the job

A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

Google Photos is a photo sharing and storage service developed by Google. Photos is one of the most sought after products at Google and is looking for both client-side (web and mobile), with server-side (search, storage, serving) and machine intelligence (learning, computer vision) Software Engineers. We are dedicated to making Google experiences centered around the user.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with product, UX, and engineering leads to turn the idea for the main photo gallery and the full-screen photo viewer into a reality.
  • Manage the delivery of features across Android and iOS, ensuring coordination between teams.
  • Streamline development processes and identify issues before they impact ship dates or product quality.
  • Act as the primary connector between engineering, product, UX, and research to turn ideas into roadmaps.
  • Build and maintain relationships with cross-functional partners across engineering, design, research, analytics, legal, and privacy by driving communications and removing roadblocks.
