Senior Cyber Threat Analyst, Mandiant Intelligence Delivery

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in assessing and developing cybersecurity solutions and programs across security domains.
  • 5 years of experience in a customer-facing investigative role in cybersecurity or cyber threat intelligence.
  • 5 years of experience in delivering cyber outcomes, identifying mission risks, and devising solutions.
  • Active, or the ability to obtain, a Top Secret/SCI security clearance.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Certifications related to specific cloud platforms.
  • Experience with cloud governance.
  • Experience implementing industry-leading practices around cyber risks and cloud security for clients cloud security frameworks using industry standards.
  • Ability to convey governance principles to cloud computing in terms of policies.
  • Excellent time and project management skills.

About the job

Advanced Intelligence Access (AIA) is mandiant’s premium cyber threat intelligence subscription, offering customers access to a wide range of mandiant data, tooling, and expertise via a dedicated mandiant employee, onsite at the customer’s premises. AIA is tailored to the needs of each customer, allowing for improved integration and outcomes.

The Strategic Intelligence and Government (SIG) team works within the broader mandiant intelligence business and supports government sector customers, often working closely with national intelligence services, large government ministries or ministries of defense.

In this role, you will be the primary mandiant representative at a government office with the goal of developing, supporting, maintaining, and driving the mandiant threat intelligence portfolio. You will be an expert at balancing priorities, and demonstrate your efficient communication skills in government mission space. You will work directly with clients to understand their threat concerns and to set expectations for deliverables.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $132,000-$194,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with customers to understand their Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) needs and identify opportunities to maximize the impact of CTI within their operations.
  • Oversee the delivery, organization, and sharing of mandiant threat intelligence products to the customer.
  • Communicate complex technical findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences, verbally and in writing.
  • Generate CTI and perform analysis of customer data, taking their bespoke sources to identify threat activity, or to build and automate investigative workflows.
  • Transform raw intelligence from various sources, including sensors, incident response engagements, and security tools, into actionable reports and briefings.
