Minimum qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience in a consulting capacity at a consulting firm or an in-house strategy unit.

  • Ability to work in a fast-moving environment with dynamic stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem solving and investigative skills with the ability to distill complex analyses into simple recommendations.
  • Excellent people, and written and verbal communication skills, including Sheets, Slides, and presentation design skills.

About the job

As a Strategy and Operations Associate, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic business operations to support business priorities. You will sit in Consumer App Marketing’s central Strategy and Operations team. You will play a critical role in shaping the AI transformation of Search.

Consumer Apps Marketing's (CAM) central Strategy and Operations team is responsible for setting marketing strategy, overseeing business operations and executive communications, and executing priority projects across the CAM organization, which covers Products/Initiatives from emerging technology such as AI and Gemini, to the mature products such as Search, and everything in between like Maps. Our mission is to empower the CAM leadership with the right strategy, processes, and infrastructure to run an effective and efficient organization.

In this role, you will drive key business operations for one of our product marketing teams. You will sit in Consumer App Marketing’s central Strategy and Operations team, be embedded in the product marketing team and act as a partner to the Director.

You’ll develop and implement strategic business operations to effectively support business priorities. You’ll act as a connector across the team to identify opportunities for collaboration, create efficiencies in how we work, and drive operational alignment on complex cross-team efforts. You’ll work across Regions to share learning and bring the strategy to life at a global level.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $93,000-$133,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage key team operations, including overseeing resource management (budget, headcount), setting and tracking our goals, enabling measurement, and reporting on the impact of the team.
  • Develop internal communications, helping operationalize new initiatives while also keeping teams aligned against critical priorities and unblocking obstacles.
  • Drive coordination and alignment across cross-functional teams across Marketing, including other Product Areas, central infrastructure and Regions, helping drive clarity around priorities and impact.
  • Operationalize annual marketing planning, including tracking and sizing priorities and developing the business case for resources to executive stakeholders.
