Remote location: Mexico.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Quality Engineering, or Interconnect related equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in manufacturing or other relevant field Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Materials or other relevant engineering discipline.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- CRE/CQE (Certified Reliability/Quality Engineer) certification or equivalent experience.
- 7 years of experience in Hardware Quality, Reliability, Product Engineering, Test Engineering or Manufacturing of cloud hardware systems.
- Experience with advanced statistical (or statistics based) methodologies e.g. design of experiments, statistical process controls, six sigma, probabilistic models.
- Understanding of Interconnect manufacturing and test processes.

You should possess problem-solving skills, with the ability to solve problems and drive product development in a fast-paced setting. Comfort with extracting and analyzing data to generate insights and drive decisions is crucial.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for the supplier quality and reliability of Interconnect deliverables throughout the life cycle. Drive cross-functional activities in the supply chain for overall technical operational readiness in all NPI phases leading into Production.
- Provide consultation to the design, manufacturing and commodity teams in qualification, and application of Interconnect technologies.
- Assess suppliers’ capabilities from a quality perspective as part of new supplier selection activities. Conduct quality and manufacturing process audits at current and potential suppliers.
- Work cross-functionally to define and ensure processes in place to provide the data required to manage quality and reliability. Interface with suppliers on a regular basis to share feedback from the fleet and drive Return Material Authorization (RMA), Corrective Action Requests (CAR), Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) and Failure Analysis (FA).
