About the job

Within gUP, the Machine Learning (ML) Data Services team delivers scalable, high-quality data solutions that are foundational to numerous critical AI initiatives across Google. We partner closely with Google DeepMind and other Engineering teams to bring the best Generative AI Models (GenAI) to market. We seek entrepreneurial, detail-oriented individuals driven to launch Google’s AI/ML products.

As a Senior Technical Solutions Consultant, you will be responsible for the technical relationship of our largest advertising clients or product partners. You will lead cross-functional teams to leverage emerging technologies for our external clients/partners. From concept design and testing to data analysis and support, you will oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google's online advertising platforms or product partnerships.

In this role, you will serve as the primary expert, responsible for designing and delivering top notch GenAI Core Models while actively driving product improvements as a key user advocate. You will possess an understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs) and Data Services and will collaborate directly with our Engineering teams to enhance our products and services. You will also be pioneering new methodologies for measuring the performance, quality, and safety of Generative AI models.
In gTech Users and Products (gUP), our mission is to advocate for Google’s users by creating helpful and trusted experiences across the product ecosystem. We achieve this by meeting partners and consumers where they are with support and help, representing their needs with our product partners and proposing fixes and features that elevate their engagement with Google's diverse product ecosystem. Additionally we provide a range of product services that ensure our products are optimized for every user, no matter where they are in the world (e.g., localization, digitization, partner integration and more).

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the evolution of Gemini Models by shaping future capabilities and defining the roadmap for developer tools and cool models.
  • Partner with Google DeepMind Engineering, Program Management and Product Operations (Ops) teams to prioritize and deliver solutions that measurably impact Generative AI model quality and performance across Google’s product offerings.
