Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience in tax.
- Experience with income tax provision software.
- Experience with data automation and visualization tools.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with SAP enterprise applications.
- Knowledge of database and basic programming skills.
- Knowledge of tax accounting principles, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting the preferred timeline.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $137,000-$201,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Manage workstreams for Alphabet's quarterly consolidated income tax provision processes, ensuring accuracy for earnings releases and SEC filings; Oversee the standalone tax provision packages for Other Bets, including tax attributes tracking, financial statement audits, and disclosures.
- Perform deferred tax balances roll-forward, flux analysis, and assess valuation allowances. Prepare the global income tax payable accounts roll-forward, incorporating global tax accounts reconciliation, proofs, and flux analyses.
- Manage ASC 740-10 uncertain tax issues tracking, calculations, and memos, and prepare the global FIN 48 consolidation model.
- Support U.S. Federal and State Return-to-Provision (RTP) processes; Manage U.S. IRS Voluntary Disclosure Agreement (VDA) related workstreams.
- Contribute to ad-hoc analyses and special projects to support evolving business needs and tax initiatives (e.g., Assessing tax provision implications of new business ventures or acquisitions and of new US GAAP accounting standards and tax legislations).
