Country Process Owner, People Experience (English, Japanese)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in a customer or client-facing role supporting HR/People processes.
  • Experience in local legal and regulatory requirements for local HR practices and standards.
  • Ability to communicate in Japanese and English fluently to engage with external and internal local stakeholders in Japan.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Certification in Lean/Six Sigma.
  • Experience with Digital Transformation/HR Digitalization.
  • Experience in human resources, people programs or people related roles.
  • Experience in data analysis, google sheets and apps script.
  • Experience with leading multiple priority projects and managing programs.
  • Ability to work in an ambiguous environment and collaborate cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

  • Design and optimize country-specific processes to meet business needs, improve efficiency and reduce risks.
  • Execute critical local Human Resources (HR) requirements while ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Develop and implement operationally compliant processes to reduce HR compliance risks.
  • Streamline existing processes for scalability and exceptional employee experiences.
  • Lead strategic HR initiatives, overseeing documentation, data analysis and stakeholder alignment.
