About the job

A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

We plan, buy, build, and deploy infrastructure (e.g., servers, storage, networking, ML accelerators, and Cloud platforms) to deliver capacity at scale for Google’s needs. The Equipment Supply Chain (ESC) team within CSCO is responsible for the supply chain for data center capital equipment and the spares to maintain the equipment.

As a Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for coordination of early stage planning with the Data Center Design team on new data center configurations and associated New Product Introduction (NPI). In addition, they will be responsible to lead to feasibility of cut-in or acceleration decisions. You will coordinate with the different functions in ESC (and outside of ESC) to identify and partner to resolve constraints across the overall data center equipment supply chain and accomplish this through the development and running of programmatic tracking and resolution of various constraints and considerations, while ensuring strong communication of tradeoffs and agreements.
