Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with hardware and operating systems (e.g., Linux), and networking protocols.
- Experience with diagnosing and troubleshooting or with computer and server hardware.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in maintenance and monitoring of server systems.
- Ability to collaborate and partner with teams to resolve issues.

Responsibilities
- Monitor, maintain, and deploy the physical infrastructure behind Google's powerful search technology, advanced data center servers, and network infrastructure.
- Support conditions for the servers to ensure optimal functionality and connectivity, and oversee maintenance of critical systems.
- Contribute to efforts/projects in the deployment, maintenance and support of current and new data center servers and network infrastructure.
- Install and maintain switches, routers, and other large-scale networking gear. Diagnose and repair broken equipment, including servers, networking and storage devices.
- Be available and capable of participating in primary/secondary on-call for the sites and to work on 24/7 shifts if needed.
