Sponsorship and Creator Strategist, Large Customer Sales

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 11 years of experience in digital media, sales, marketing, or product roles.
  • Experience identifying client’s issues to defining customer and product strategy, enabling long-term opportunities.
  • Experience working with digital organizations.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Video and Creator industry trends.
  • Understanding of the buying requirements and timelines associated with the US streaming market.
  • Understanding of the YouTube ecosystem and media/marketing landscape.
  • Ability to dissect data and analysis to uncover insights, opportunities and white-space and develop compelling sales pitches to distill the information.
  • Track record of leading strategy development across multi-disciplinary cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent collaborator with a passion for building meaningful and fruitful relationships.

In this role, the Sponsorship and Creator Strategist is a proactive and specialized video strategist that thrives in a fast paced, cross-functional environment. You will have a passion for helping to build insights and strategies to help close sponsorship packages, creator brand deals and disrupt the ever-changing video landscape. You will have an understanding of how YouTube sponsorships and creator partnerships can support an advertiser’s business objectives.Google's Large Customer Sales (LCS) teams are strategic partners and industry thought leaders to the world's leading brands and agencies. We continuously challenge how customers think about their business and how Google can support growth. We focus on helping these players navigate profound industry shifts and drive outsized business performance by competitively selling Google's full suite of advertising solutions across Search, YouTube, Measurement, and more. As a member of our LCS team, you'll have the unique opportunity to sell at the forefront of technology, collaborating with executives, influencing market-shaping strategies, and delivering tangible results that significantly impact major global businesses and drive the growth of Google.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $138,000-$205,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze viewership data and emerging cultural trends to uncover provocative, actionable insights for brand partners.
  • Translate insights into compelling, story-driven sales narratives and materials that arm the sales team to win major creator and sponsorship deals.
  • Collaborate directly with key clients and agency partners to understand their business issues and develop custom creator strategies that drive measurable return on investment.
  • Serve as a primary partner to the sales team, providing expert consultation on creator-led campaigns and ensuring alignment with client objectives.
  • Scale cultural and creator expertise across the organization by developing and distributing thought leadership, marketplace reports, and scalable playbooks.
