Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, corporate advisory experience, or 6 years of experience with an advanced degree.
- 4 years of experience working with executive stakeholders.
- Experience building tech or analytics solutions in a sales/operations environment, or tech strategy consulting.
- Experience leading and developing high performing teams.
- Experience working in a global organization.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience using business intelligence and dashboards (e.g., SQL, Pulse, Connect Sales, App Scripts).
- Experience in people management and management across different cultures and timezones, with the ability to build relationships and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced ambiguous environment, balancing competing priorities and making decisions.
- Excellent communication skills, with experience influencing and building consensus among leadership.
- Excellent problem-solving and risk mitigation skills, with experience influencing peers and partners without direct authority to drive collaborative decisions.

As the Strategic Planning and Operations Senior Manager, you will lead the team responsible for the gTech Ads success metrics and reporting strategy. You will identify and implement opportunities to measure and drive business growth. You will partner with teams across the business, gSO, and other GTM teams to deliver on the businesses priorities and enable the gTech organization. You will have the opportunity to work on a breadth of topics in strategy and operations (gSO) and get exposure to several aspects of the business. You will support business teams in making strategic decisions and achieving their business objectives. In this role, you will manage and develop a high-performing team of strategy and planning leads.
The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.
Responsibilities
- Lead metrics and reporting strategy. Represent gTech Ads in global metrics and reporting forums, ensuring global standards are understood and supported.
- Provide thought leadership and knowledge on operational infrastructure to guide senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
- Oversee and accelerate the development of executive and self-serve reporting functionalities, and identify challenges of the various operational and strategic projects to the data infrastructure.
- Ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver on project priorities, drive alignment, and enable decision making.
- Communicate findings to executive leadership in the shape of executive-ready presentations and thoughtful facilitation of strategy topics across functional teams.
