Data Engineer, Ads Marketing Analytics (Spanish and English)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience coding in one or more programming languages.
  • 3 years of experience working with data infrastructure and data models by performing exploratory queries and scripts.
  • Ability to communicate in Spanish and English fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms.
  • Experience working with advanced analytics solutions involving machine learning and statistical analytics including prompt engineering techniques.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, including technical architectures, infrastructure components, ETL and reporting/analytics tools and environments.
  • Knowledge of SQL, and experience with data processing software.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with technical and business stakeholders with listening, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, constantly evolving and collaborative environment.

gTech’s Product and Tools Operations team (gPTO) leverages deep user, operational, and technical insights to innovate Google's Ads products into customer experiences that are so intuitive (or automated) that they require no support at all. gPTO partners closely with gTech’s Support, Professional Services, Product Management, and Engineering teams to innovate and simplify our Ads products and build the productivity tools ecosystem for gTech users.

As a Data Engineer on the Ads Marketing Analytics team, you will play a vital role in building and maintaining the data infrastructure that fuels our marketing measurement you will design, develop, and optimize data pipelines, ensuring data quality and accessibility for analysis and reporting. Your technical expertise will enable the marketing team to leverage data-driven insights to optimize campaigns and measure the impact of marketing initiatives. You will leverage AI in your work.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines to collect, process, and store data from various data sources.
  • Implement robust data quality checks and monitoring to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, data science, engineering, analytics) to understand data requirements and deliver data solutions.
  • Optimize data infrastructure for performance to meet evolving business needs.
  • Create and maintain dashboards and reports to provide insights to the marketing team.
