Business Continuity and Resilience Manager

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience with program management in domains similar to business continuity, risk management, compliance, and incident management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Certifications in ABCP (Associate Business Continuity Professional), CBCP (Certified Business Continuity Professional), and CRM (Certified Risk Manager).
  • Experience analyzing processes, identifying risks/dependencies, and applying critical problem-solving to propose optimizing solutions.
  • Knowledge of ISO 22301 requirements and systems to meet standard.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and stakeholder management skills for fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication for effective documentation, presentations, and collaboration.

The gTech Risk and Compliance (R&C) team is foundational to gTech's success, enhancing its operational agility and resilience. We power an exceptional risk management program designed to identify, assess, and mitigate risks effectively.

The Business Resilience and Incident Management (BRIM) program is a specialized function within R&C. BRIM's core objective is to strengthen gTech's ability to maintain critical business functions during and after major disruptive events. We provide essential resilience and response services, such as Business Resilience Planning (BRP), proactive monitoring, incident management, and crisis management.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $110,000-$157,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Own the business continuity lifecycle for gTech operations, including planning, development, testing, and maintenance.
  • Manage Business Impact Analysis (BIAs) and criticality assessments with vendor teams to establish Recovery Time Objectives (RTOs).
  • Lead collaborative development and upkeep of comprehensive Business Continuity Plans (BCPs) and resilience artifacts alongside vendor partners.
  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee business continuity tests (e.g., tabletop, simulations), ensuring effectiveness and tracking improvements.
  • Drive timely approval of BC plans/documentation, manage the program's scope, and ensure alignment with gTech Risk and Compliance goals and stakeholders.
