Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in product management, marketing, management consulting, or project management in technology.
  • Experience working with Product Management or Engineering teams, executive leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Experience developing business strategies or managing cross-functional initiatives.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience partnering with clients on technical products (e.g., pitching solutions, consulting, project management, implementation, demonstrating products, or technical sales).
  • Experience managing complex projects with stakeholders across multiple functions.
  • Ability to structure a compelling storyline and build presentation decks/documents to support their position.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent thinking and problem solving skills with the ability to lead complex operational and strategic initiatives.

The Local Ads GPS team partners with product and sales to define and execute the go-to-market strategy for Google's innovative Local Ads products. By optimizing the interplay between GBP, LSA, and Local Search (Ads and Organic) we provide advertisers with local goals as a toolkit to meet users at every stage of their local journey.

In this role, you will leverage your expertise to inspire sellers and customers to expand their adoption of key Local solutions across Google Ads. You will work closely with technical Product Managers and our Sales teams globally to contribute to the development of those solutions. You will also partner closely with other global product solutions leads and regional go-to-market teams to identify product gaps and brainstorm solutions to bring to life with program manager.Global Solutions is the link between Google products and business. Your focus is to help turn innovation into complete, packaged tools that allow our customers to get the most that they need from our products. As part of the Global Solutions team, you'll help to ensure that Google has adopted the right strategy for our products. Working in one of three specialized areas – Performance, Brand, or Publisher & Platform – you'll use your expertise to help front-line Sales partners to work their magic quickly and effectively. You are passionate about all things digital, and want to help shape the world of online advertising.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $120,000-$172,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Google sales teams to identify potential business growth opportunities.
  • Gather information on common objections, successful strategies, product knowledge gaps, and more.
  • Work with sales and global team leaders to develop effective narratives. Leverage resources to equip sellers with in-depth product knowledge and expertise.
  • Share customer and product feedback with central and product teams to ensure the product roadmap aligns with the needs of Google Customer Solutions promoters and customers. Collaborate with Sales and Global Product and Sales Activation to identify key challenges, unlock growth opportunities, and develop scalable solutions across industry challenges.
  • Partner with Product Management and central teams to influence product roadmaps and ensure they reflect the needs of GCS customers. Monitor and report on key drivers/metrics. Facilitate and run internal and external trainings. Introduce/pitch priority products to strategic customers.
