Program Manager, Regional Data Center Delivery

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Engineering, Construction Management or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in managing cross-functional programs.
  • 2 years of experience in program management or planning for data center infrastructure and real estate development or a similar industry.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience maintaining complex project trackers or dashboards, and proficiency in using data to identify trends.
  • Familiarity with data center infrastructure components (Power, Cooling, Shell/Core) or construction lifecycles.
  • Ability to drive outcomes and manage dependencies in a complex environment.
  • Ability to tailor communications to different audiences, ensuring technical details are understood by non-technical partners.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

As the Delivery Program Manager, you will be responsible for managing the lifecycle and tracking of infrastructure assets (Land, Power, Network, and Construction) for an assigned region. You will bridge the gap between strategic planning and on-the-ground execution.

You will manage the tracking of milestones against the Plan of Record for a specific set of sites. You will be responsible for maintaining data accuracy to ensure leadership has visibility into progress, risks, and constraints. You will require close collaboration with cross-functional partner teams in a matrixed environment to resolve operational issues and ensure projects progress according to schedule.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $126,000-$181,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Track critical milestones and lead times, adjusting schedules to ensure all assets are delivered on time against the approved plan.
  • Identify constraints and plan deviations, communicating risks to stakeholders before they impact the critical path or project timelines.
  • Maintain high data accuracy through regular system updates and deliver standardized status reports for executive and partner reviews.
  • Define and collect key data points to measure program health, providing full transparency into progress, changes, or potential delays.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact to resolve daily blockers and build stakeholder relationships that facilitate faster decision-making and role clarity.
