About the job

A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

In this role, you will partner across Technical Infrastructure and Cloud Supply Chain and Operations (CSCO) to source, plan, make, and deliver compute, network, storage, and data center capacity for all product areas across Google. From developing and maintaining our data centers to building the next generation of Google platforms, we make Google's product portfolio possible. Our team procures and delivers the cooling and electrical gear that powers our data centers, ultimately ensuring the delivery of Google's products and services to billions of users around the world.

Google Cloud accelerates every organization’s ability to digitally transform its business and industry. We deliver enterprise-grade solutions that leverage Google’s cutting-edge technology, and tools that help developers build more sustainably. Customers in more than 200 countries and territories turn to Google Cloud as their trusted partner to enable growth and solve their most critical business problems.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead master scheduling and rough-cut capacity planning processes and procedures to drive planning through a scalable process and system automation.
  • Manage material supply and inventory to meet existing and new product demand requirements, coordinating with Demand Planning on changes that impact delivery of key components as demand fluctuates.
  • Identify and resolve supply chain gaps and inefficiencies, while clearly documenting process solutions and requirements.
  • Develop short- and long-term demand/supply models to minimize total costs and inventories while maintaining service levels; develop and justify inventory buffer strategies that optimize cost and flexibility.
  • Perform in-depth statistical analysis to determine demand and supply patterns and outliers to drive data-driven decisions.
