Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in data analysis, including identifying trends, generating summary statistics, and drawing insights from quantitative and qualitative data.
- 5 years of experience managing projects and defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree.
- 8 years of experience in a risk/compliance analytical environment, preferably within a global payments, FinTech, or technology company.
- Knowledge of SQL, Plx, Cider, Cloudtop, and overall Google technical infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of developing and maintaining a robust data warehouse adhering to data management principles and regulatory expectations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain complex quantitative concepts to technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leaders and regulators.
- Deep subject matter expertise in payments data, payment processing, and financial crime typologies.

In this role, you will be responsible for the global design, development, maintenance, and strategic management of Google Payments' systemic Operational and Regulatory Reporting processes. You will lead the data infrastructure maintenance for regulatory reporting across multiple jurisdictions around the globe.
You will be responsible for driving the continuous improvement of our data capabilities. You will be responsible for ensuring the data infrastructure for the team is robust, effective, efficient, and demonstrably compliant with regulatory expectations and internal model risk management, data security, and privacy standards in a fast-paced, product-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Direct the technical architecture and maintenance of the payments data warehouse, ensuring a robust, scalable "single source of truth" for Payments Compliance.
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of solutions for metrics, reports, queries, and dashboards; prioritizing automation to reduce manual intervention while ensuring 100% accuracy and timeliness for regulatory reporting requirements.
- Modernize existing data infrastructures to utilize advanced compliance analytics, risk identification and automated reporting solutions.
- Manage the administration and optimization of third-party compliance tools and platforms, ensuring seamless integration with internal data environments and maximum ROI on tooling investments.
- Architect and scale operational dashboards that track program health, data quality, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), providing leadership with real-time visibility into compliance efficacy.
