Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 11 years of experience in management consulting, product management and strategy, or analytics in a technology company.
  • Experience working with and analyzing data, and managing multiple cross-functional programs or projects.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Advanced degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with R, SQL, spreadsheets, or similar analytics tools.
  • Experience working with Product and Engineering teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Product and Business Strategy Leaders bring together teams across Google’s functions to help products execute optimally. Our team pushes Google to scale at key points that refine our products and infrastructure by executing efficiently, bringing solid business sense and sound judgment, and working effectively across organizational lines.

Our roles often include components of strategy (e.g. analyzing and understanding new trends in the industry, building business plans), operations (e.g. running the cadence of organizations, connecting the operating lines between our functions), and communications. Our team partners with senior leadership to run important functions that cross-cut our existing organizations and deliver high impact projects. We help Engineers, PMs, UX, and all of our other functions to build amazing products that delight our users, and then get those products into their hands.

Google Data Centers (GDC) is a fully managed product portfolio that brings Google Cloud infrastructure and services closer to where customer data is being generated and consumed. GDC empowers customers to run AI-led services in their own (or a partner) data center, or at the edge, alongside enterprise applications to support mission-critical use cases such as computer vision and Google AI edge inferencing.

GDC Product Strategy and Operations is a growing team within the broader Infrastructure and Solutions Group (ISG) Product Strategy and Operations team to help drive strategic and operational excellence for each one of our focus areas.

As a senior member of the GDC Product Strategy and Operations team, you will drive key strategic initiatives, lead executive cadence and key operational processes.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $171,000-$254,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Engineering and Product Management leadership to drive delivery strategy and operations through governance, communication and cross-functional collaboration (e.g., weekly deployment reviews, marquee customer delivery sprints, etc.).
  • Lead marquee customer engagement by aligning cross-functional teams, streamlining communications to the customer, driving to business goals.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams such as Go-To-Market (GTM), Supply chain, Finance, Capacity planning, etc. (e.g., work with Customer Engineers to collect field feedback, and align on the GTM approach).
  • Provide support for your execution area (e.g., internal usage, Key Performance Indicator (KPI) setting, goals).
  • Support GDC leadership on special initiatives.
